Micro Blogging

Microblogging has been used to describe a range of different sites that allow you to say what you are doing but only let you use a limited number of words (usually 140 characters)

Here are some of them:

http://twitter.com/ is the most popular microblogging tool, and there are a host of related applications to support it. Learn more about Twitter.

Pownce: http://www.pownce.com
Plurk: http://www.plurk.com

There's even a microblogging tool based on Twitter that allows you to share the music you are listening to: http://blip.fm
